As CEO, Mark drives the overall strategy and direction of AccessHope. His prior leadership experience includes successes with BridgeHealth, HealthSmart Holdings, Inc., Aon Hewitt, Great-West Healthcare, UnitedHealthcare and more.


Chief Commercial Officer

Jonathan creates a strong customer and consultant experience as CCO.  His history in the healthcare consulting, brokerage, and health plan industries includes significant leadership experience with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. and Willis Towers Watson.

Alvernas, M.D.

VP, Executive Clinical Director | AccessHope; VP, Government Affairs and Senior Medical Director for Employer Strategy, Clinical Professor, Hematology/HCT | City of Hope

Dr. Alvarnas serves as Vice President, Executive Clinical Director at AccessHope. He served previously as Director of Value Based Analytics and Director of Clinical Quality for the City of Hope Alpha Stem Cell Clinic. His patients praise him for his bedside manner, and he continues to speak passionately about issues like healthy living and preventive care as key weapons against cancer.

West, M.D.

Executive Medical Director | AccessHope; Associate Clinical Professor, Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research | City of Hope

Dr. West is an Associate Clinical Professor in Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research at City of Hope and serves as Executive Medical Director of AccessHope. He is dedicated to finding innovative approaches to delivering sub-specialist expertise, using tools such as remote case reviews and telemedicine consultations.


SVP Product Development and Innovation

Justin drives product strategy, product management, design and user experience for AccessHope’s suite of services. His healthcare experience includes strategic roles with Aetna and Cigna as well as success at Deloitte Consulting and more.


VP, Client Excellence

Julie is focused on producing long-term and highly satisfied customer partnerships as VP of Client Excellence. Her previous experiences include VP and COO roles at Magellan Health and success at ValueOptions.


SVP Channel Strategy

Sue leverages her 30+ years in the healthcare industry to drive business growth for AccessHope’s cancer support services program. Her experience includes executive consulting roles with Aon and Mercer, as well as a successful role at StayWell.


Executive Director, Marketing & Communications

Melissa drives the AccessHope brand and marketing strategy and oversees member engagement. Her 20 years of experience include successive leadership roles with StayWell as well as positions with Willis Towers Watson and RBC Capital Markets.


RN, BSN, MBA, Director of Clinical Operations

Rob drives the day-to-day success of clinical operations and delivery of clinical services. His experience includes operations leadership at Optum as well as Facility CEO at Surgicare of Hawaii. Rob also served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.


Director, Information Technology

Abhishek is responsible for the management, strategy and operations of IT infrastructure and oversees the IT Strategy and Information Security Program. His experience includes success with Johns Hopkins, City Of Hope and Johnson & Johnson.
