AccessHope Strengthens Leadership Team to Drive Innovation and Growth in Cancer Care

Company welcomes four seasoned healthcare executives to support continued growth and deepen strategic partnerships

DUARTE, Calif. – June 10, 2025 AccessHope, LLC, a company changing the way leading-edge cancer expertise is delivered, is strengthening its commitment to growth and innovation with the addition of four accomplished executives to its team. Sarah Berman, Brad Beringer, Alex Burggren and Donya LaHaye have joined AccessHope as vice presidents across key business functions, bringing decades of combined experience in healthcare, benefits and digital health.

“As we scale AccessHope’s services, we’re investing in people who understand the complexity of cancer care and the evolving needs of our partners,” said AccessHope Chief Executive Officer Brad Kreick. “Sarah, Brad, Alex and Donya bring invaluable experience that will help us build stronger partnerships and expand our capabilities to support more organizations and their employees.” 

New Leadership Appointments

Sarah Berman – Vice President, Product and Innovation
Berman brings more than 10 years of experience in healthcare and financial services, specializing in solutions that drive impact, adoption and business growth. At AccessHope she will drive the product innovation strategy, identifying market opportunities and translating them into impactful, scalable solutions. Previously, she served as a product leader and senior growth strategy consultant at PwC, collaborating with Fortune 500 and startup executives to expand market presence, develop solutions and launch innovative offerings bridging the health-wealth gap. Earlier in her career, she was a product analyst at Liberty Mutual. Berman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University in Economics and Art History.

Brad Beringer – Vice President, Business Development 
With nearly a decade of healthcare technology sales experience, Beringer will expand payer partnerships at AccessHope. Most recently, he spent five years at Headspace (previously Ginger), where he played a key role in new business growth. Beringer began as one of the first mid-market sales executives and later advanced to leading and managing the Enterprise Sales team. Prior to that, he handled sales and account management at healthcare startup BioIQ, working with payers like Anthem and various Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. Beringer earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.

Alex Burggren – Vice President, Consultant Relations Leader
Burggren brings 20 years of healthcare and employee benefits experience to his new role at AccessHope, where he will focus on growing the company’s presence within the benefits consultancy market. He previously spent seven years at Virta Health building consultant strategy and executing marketing plans related to metabolic health. Earlier roles include leading consultant relations at Virgin Pulse (now Personify Health) and health management consulting at Towers Watson and Mercer. Burggren earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of California, Davis.

Donya LaHaye – Vice President, Sales
LaHaye brings more than 13 years of enterprise sales experience in the health and benefits industry, along with eight years in technology public relations, to her role. In her new position, she will support employers as they partner with AccessHope. Previously, she led large market employer sales for Headspace (previously Ginger) and Personify (previously Virgin Pulse). She also served as the U.S. West Regional Director for the Global Corporate Challenge (GCC). LaHaye earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine.

AccessHope continues to expand its reach through thoughtful collaboration with employers, health plans and National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers. The company also partners with leading healthcare navigation and benefits platforms to extend the impact of its cancer support services.
