AccessHope’s CEO Mark Stadler spoke with the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions’ President and CEO Michael Thompson One-On-One on how we democratize cancer expertise through employers and health plans. In the interview, Mark discusses that we exist to bring the knowledge and capabilities of National Cancer Institute (NCI)–Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers to community-based oncologists. By remotely delivering expert reviews to these doctors and their patients, we enable them to stay close to home—where it’s more comfortable and appropriate for them to receive care. Mark and Michael also discuss how AccessHope holistically approaches cancer cases to provide humanistic support, resulting in evidence-based recommendations associated with improved clinical outcomes for up to 92% of cases.
