When navigating a cancer diagnosis for yourself or a loved one, you should never have to wonder if you’re receiving the best care. Cancer is a highly complex condition and requires a personalized treatment plan. U.S. News & World Report has released its annual rankings of hospitals, including the top cancer centers, to empower patients and their families to select the facility best suited to their specific cancer needs.

At AccessHope we believe that everyone, regardless of where you live, should have access to  leading research and expertise from oncologists at the top cancer treatment facilities in the country. That’s why we partner with National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers that continue to demonstrate their commitment to knowledge and innovation in the fight against cancer.

Our network includes seven NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers across the U.S.: City of Hope, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Emory Healthcare and Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, Fred Hutch Cancer Center, Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, Northwestern Medicine and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, and UT Southwestern Medical Center and its Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. All of our network partners are on the U.S. News & World Report’s top cancer hospital list.

These rankings reflect our network’s ability to deliver on our most important goal – saving lives.

Why is NCI-level expertise important?

NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers can help:

  • Deliver cancer care that more quickly incorporates research advances into standards of care
  • Improve survival and recovery, as those who start their treatment at this type of center have shown to live longer 1,2
  • Expand access to clinical trials, potentially enrolling patients in hundreds of research studies at any given moment 2
  • Take a multidisciplinary approach, providing an entire team of cancer specialists who can personalize treatment plans 2

AccessHope offers access to the renowned expertise of multidisciplinary specialists with NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers for local oncologists of employees with cancer to get them on the right course of treatment early on, for the best outcomes possible. Considering that medical knowledge doubles in only 73 days, 3 local doctors who treat many types of cancer every day can benefit from the support of these subspecialists through a collaborative relationship that helps close the cancer knowledge gap across the country.
